2014 development strategic seminar was held on Dec. 26. Wang Yang, executive president and general manager of CMAL presided the seminar, with presence of Huang Zhongqiang, vice president of Changan Auto and Zhu Minghui, vice general manager of Changan Industry and president of CMAL.
Revolving around two topics, “Catering to new situation, planning new ideas and developing new blueprint altogether”and“Expanding value-added services through supply chain and developing potential profit sources” , a review and summary had been given to the implementation of “12th five-year plan” in recent 4 years, with an in-depth study of open issues and shortages. In addition, the opportunities and challenges CMAL faces during “13th five-year plan” had been reviewed, with a full discussion focusing on overall target of “13th five-year plan”, development idea, key measures as well as on how to expand value-added services through supply chain.
Vice president Huang Zhongqiang made keynote speech during the meeting, confirming the significance of the strategic seminar and giving emphasis on the shared responsibility and mission for both Changan Auto and CMAL to do a good job. For “13th five-year plan” logistics planning, emphasis shall fall on idea of strategic planning, top-level design of strategic planning and implementation of strategic planning and others.
President Zhu Minghui looked back on the development and implementation of“12th five-year plan” during his speech, fully acknowledging the progress made in recent 4 years and giving emphasis on expanding market, enhancing efficiency and promoting investment during “13th five-year plan”. Moreover, he also called on all employees to be pragmatic and diligent, and to have greater sense of safety and good behavior so as to make greater contribution to CMAL’s future development.
Over 50 persons attended the meeting with presence of heads with Changan Auto manufacturing logistics department, strategic planning department, Changan Industry development planning department as well as heads at management level and heads with first-level business corporations and from functional departments and some foreign-based branches as well.
